My Hot Tip; DialAFlight

That was the answer I received whenever I enquired about friends progress on extending their return flights, for an extra month's stay in beautiful Sri Lanka. This always brought a sly smile to my face and made me happy that I had again used DialAFlight to book my plane ticket.

Before booking my ticket I got the same old haggling, 'Why don't you find your own ticket on the internet it will be much cheaper?',  as with most things in life you get what you pay for, the funny thing is I did not find anyone who had paid that much less than me, though I sure did find many people with loads of hassles and complaints.

Calling DialAFlight, I got through to Ted one of their Sales Advisor's, we had a good chat about my up incoming travel plans while he searched for my ticket at the best price he could find, then once I was happy he booked it for me. My flight out there was perfect no long stop over in some over priced airport, it was direct from Heathrow to Colombo, 2 movies and some shut eye, then the wheels touched down.

The real joy of using DialAflight came when I wanted to extend my stay, as I was having such a fantastic time there surfing. I just emailed Ted asking him what could be done and his reply came less than 24 hrs later, "When do you want to return?". I sent him the day I wanted and he replied with my new return flight all organised as easy as that.

Everyone else I met who had booked through the internet, had to make a minimum of 3 long distance phone calls and take the 3 hour train trip into the capital, Colombo  to confirm their ticket was changed.
